Home Assessments

Psychological Assessments

On the AB (Accident Benefits side) our Psychologists pre-screen the patients prior to submitting the OCF-18 for the Psychological Assessment, to determine if a Psychological Assessment is required.

A Psychological Assessment Report describes how the accident, motor vehicular or slip and fall, has mentally injured the patient. Custom recommendations are made to assist with the recovery of the patient.

Psychological Therapy

Our team of Psychologists can provide clinic based and remote Psychological Counseling therapy sessions.

Attendant Care Assessment

The Attendant care assessment with the completion of the Form 1 will be completed by one of our Occupational Therapists (OT). During your Assessment, our OT will be assessing the ability to carry out the activities of daily living. The report will recommend education and/or devices towards increasing the patient’s independence.

Hospital Discharge Assessment
Hospital Discharge Assessment

This Assessment is completed by one of our Occupational Therapists and assesses the patient’s needs for the transition from the hospital to their home. This includes education and/or devices. Our office provides all the devices to the patient in a fast and streamlined manner. We are able to provide devices such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, bath chairs, grab bars, etc.

In Car Driving Ax

Our In Car Driving Assessment is a Psychological-clinical and in-vehicle assessment that is conducted by our team of Psychologists and Licensed Driving Therapy Instructors. The purpose of this assessment is to address the patient’s fear of driving and/or being a passenger in a vehicle in a safe and controlled environment.

In Car Driving Therapy

Our team of Psychologists and Licensed Driving Therapy Instructors provide Psychological- clinical and in-vehicle Therapy sessions.

PDA

One of our Chiropractors, Physical or Occupational Therapists perform the Physical Demands Assessment. This assessment ascertains the duties required by the patient’s job, establishes the patient’s current abilities, and then make recommendations, devices and/or ergonomic education, to return the patient to modified or full duties for his/her job.

FAE

One of our Chiropractors, Physical or Occupational Therapists perform the Functional Ability Evaluation. The Assessor inputs the assessment data into the FAE software which outputs objective data to document the patient’s functional capabilities as a result of the injuries from their Motor Vehicular, Slip & Fall, or Work Place accident.

Orthopaedic Assessment

One of our Orthopaedic Surgeons conducts this Assessment. They provide their own specialized perspective, and makes recommendations towards the recovery of the patient.

Chronic Pain

One of our Orthopaedic Surgeons conducts the Chronic Pain Assessment. This an Orthopaedic Surgeon’s specialist view of the chronic pain the client is experiencing. The report will provide recommendations towards the recovery of the patient.

 

Neurological Assessment

One of our Neurologists conducts this Assessment, which provides the perspective of a Neurological Specialist, and makes recommendations towards the recovery of the patient.

Physiatry Assessment

One of our Physiatrists conducts this Assessment, which provides the perspective of a Physiatry Specialist, and makes recommendations towards the recovery of the patient.

Neuropsychological Assessment

We offer a Neuropsychological Pre-Screening before scheduling the Neuropsychological Assessment to determine if a Neuropsychological Assessment is required.
Our Neuropsychological Assessment is a Neuropsychological clinical assessment is conducted by our Neuropsychologist to address the neuropsychological impairments of the client. 

 

TMJ Dental Assessment

One of our Dentists conducts the Temporomandibular Disorder Assessment. The report will provide a detailed description of the injury and recommendations towards the patient’s recovery.

Assessments with Catastrophic Impairment Ratings

Our company offers many different assessments that are conducted by our roster of Doctors and Therapists for clients with catastrophic impairments, as well as completion of OCF-19. We work with their legal counsel to customize the Catastrophic Assessments that require completion.

Assistive and Medical Devices

Our company offers a wide range of assistive, medical and ergonomic devices for home, workplace and everyday use to assist the clients to return to their daily living and workplace activities. Devices such as hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, bath chairs, grab bars, etc. are available.

 

In Home Safety and Ergonomic Assessment

One of our Chiropractors, Physical or Occupational Therapists conducts the In Home safety and Ergonomic Assessment by utilizing scientific principles and measures as well as subjective observations to analyze the components of a specific home environment relevant to a particular client.

 

EMG STUDY

One of our Neurologists conducts the Electromyography (EMG) study to measure the electrical activity in response to a nerve’s stimulation of the muscle. The test is used to help detect neuromuscular abnormalities as a result of neurological impairments.

MRI

Our company offers a Magnetic Resonance Imaging service (MRI), which is a scanning technique for creating detailed images of the human body. The scan uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to generate images of parts of the body that can’t be seen as well with X-rays, CT scans or ultrasound.
